Bienvenidos mama y papa!

We had a great week, and we were so excited to show parents how our Spanish class works …by inviting them to go through our Spanish class routine!  Parents experienced greetings [saludos], an entrance card [la tarjeta de embarque], singing in Spanish [vamos a cantar], reading or being read to in Spanish [vamos a leer], playing a game (of Go Fish!) [vamos a jugar…Pesca!], and after filling out their exit card, saying farewell [despedidas].

I hope parents will continue to share memories* with their students (such as the ones related on the exit card).  Language is all about the relationships that we build.

Hasta pronto,

Sra. R.
