The hands are back from the kiln and as the 2/3 artists learned, clay tends to shrink when fired. This week the 2/3s learned all about the wonders of glaze. They had to practice being extremely careful and responsible because the glaze has to stay on the top of their clay piece only, as it will fuze to the bottom of the kiln otherwise. We are so excited to see what these decorative hands come back looking like next week!
